#16 – Mosaic
A mosaic is a artwork or picture produced using the array of little parts of shaded glass, stone, or different materials. It is frequently utilized as a part of attractive workmanship or as inside design. Most mosaics are made of flat, small, generally square, bits of stone or glass of various forms, known as tesserae. A few, particularly floor mosaics, are made of little adjusted bits of stone, and called “rock mosaics”. Others are made of different materials. Mosaic was broadly utilized on religious structures and royal residences in early Islamic workmanship, including Islam’s first incredible religious building, and the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
